Ananya Bhakti refers to that kind of devotion which is based on the conviction that there’s nothing in the universe other than God and that everything in creation is a manifestation of God. God is immanent in the subtlest particle in the universe. The devotee sees God in everything and experiences God in every action. Nothing exists for him apart from the Divine. Wherever he goes, it is a pilgrimage. Every action is dedicated to the Divine. Such devotees attained God-realisation by this type of one-pointed devotion. This form of devotion can’t be practised easily by all. It is easy to say that God is all-pervasive. But it is not so easy to experience that truth. A true devotee is one who acts on the convictions he professes. This is what is implied in the concept of Trikarana shuddhi (purity in thought, word and deed). Ananya Bhakti bezieht sich auf jene Art der Hingabe, die auf der Überzeugung beruht, dass es im Universum nichts anderes als Gott gibt und dass alles in der Schöpfung eine Manifestation Gottes ist. Gott ist dem feinsten Teilchen im Universum immanent. Der Gottgeweihte sieht Gott in allem und erfährt Gott in jeder Handlung. Für ihn gibt es nichts außer dem Göttlichen. Wohin er auch geht, es ist eine Pilgerreise. Jede Handlung ist dem Göttlichen gewidmet. Solche Gottgeweihten haben durch diese Art der einseitigen Hingabe Gotterkenntnis erlangt. Diese Form der Hingabe kann nicht von allen leicht praktiziert werden. Es ist leicht zu sagen, dass Gott allgegenwärtig ist. Aber es ist nicht so einfach, diese Wahrheit zu erfahren. Ein wahrer Gottgeweihter ist jemand, der nach den Überzeugungen handelt, zu denen er sich bekennt. Das ist es, was das Konzept von Trikarana shuddhi (Reinheit in Gedanken, Worten und Taten) impliziert. Der Ananya Bhakta ist jemand, der ständig auf der Grundlage seiner Überzeugung handelt, dass der Herr allgegenwärtig, allwissend und omnipotent ist.
