Any task can be accomplished by practice. Practice is necessary for everything in life, whether it is walking, talking, eating, reading, or writing. When you are a child, your mother teaches you words like mother (amma), father (appa). All these come only with practice. You say that you want peace. For that also you need to put in some effort. All of you are squatting on the floor. Without practice, you cannot even sit in a cross-legged posture. If you want to perform a small drama, you start practising at least ten days in advance. The world is like a stage. All are actors. God is the director. You need practice for everything in this drama of life. Divinity can be attained only by following the spiritual path. The fire of wisdom is in every human being. If you neglect this fire of wisdom, it gets covered by the ash of ego, attachment, and hatred. Where does the ash come from? It comes only from the fire and ultimately covers the fire itself. Similarly, Divinity is in every human being. If you want to visualise your innate Divinity, first of all, you have to remove the ash of ego, attachment, and hatred.

Jede Aufgabe kann durch Übung bewältigt werden. Übung ist für alles im Leben notwendig, ob es sich um Gehen, Sprechen, Essen, Lesen oder Schreiben handelt. Wenn ihr ein Kind seid, bringt euch eure Mutter Wörter wie Mutter (amma), Vater (appa) bei. All das lernt man nur durch Übung. Ihr sagt, dass ihr Frieden wollt. Auch dafür müsst ihr euch etwas anstrengen. Ihr alle hockt auf dem Boden. Ohne Übung könnt ihr nicht einmal im Schneidersitz sitzen. Wenn ihr ein kleines Drama aufführen wollt, fangt ihr mindestens zehn Tage vorher an zu üben. Die Welt ist wie eine Bühne. Alle sind Schauspieler. Gott ist der Regisseur. Ihr braucht für alles in diesem Drama des Lebens Übung. Göttlichkeit kann nur erreicht werden, wenn man den spirituellen Weg beschreitet. Das Feuer der Weisheit ist in jedem Menschen. Wenn man dieses Feuer der Weisheit vernachlässigt, wird es von der Asche des Ego, der Anhaftung und des Hasses bedeckt. Woher kommt die Asche? Sie kommt nur aus dem Feuer und bedeckt schließlich das Feuer selbst. In ähnlicher Weise ist die Göttlichkeit in jedem menschlichen Wesen. Wenn ihr eure angeborene Göttlichkeit visualisieren wollt, müsst ihr zuallererst die Asche des Ego, der Anhaftung und des Hasses entfernen.
