The Divine Principle is the very core of man. Becoming aware of this Truth is the goal of life; it’s the source of strength which is unfailing and irresistible. Close your eyes and you feel there is none around, though there are thousands. If you suffer from cataract, you cannot know the truth. So too, the Divine is here, before you, behind you, inside you, outside you; the intelligence through which you can recognise! It is also with you; but, you are either blind, diseased with defective vision or worse still, wilfully inclined to close your eyes! You have a bird in your very hand; but, you are wasting your time and energy conspiring to catch the bird hiding in the bush; the notes that make you believe there’s a bird in the bush are, only the echoes of notes from the throat of the bird in your own hand! Das Göttliche Prinzip ist der eigentliche Kern des Menschen. Sich dieser Wahrheit bewusst zu werden, ist das Ziel des Lebens; es ist die Quelle der Kraft, die unfehlbar und unwiderstehlich ist. Schließt man die Augen, hat man das Gefühl, es sei niemand da, obwohl es Tausende gibt. Wenn ihr am grauen Star leidet, könnt ihr die Wahrheit nicht erkennen. So ist auch das Göttliche hier, vor euch, hinter euch, in euch, außerhalb von euch; die Intelligenz, durch die ihr erkennen könnt! Sie ist auch bei euch, aber ihr seid entweder blind, an Sehstörungen erkrankt oder, was noch schlimmer ist, ihr verschließt absichtlich eure Augen! Ihr habt einen Vogel in eurer Hand, aber ihr verschwendet eure Zeit und Energie damit, den Vogel zu fangen, der sich im Busch versteckt; die Töne, die euch glauben lassen, dass es einen Vogel im Busch gibt, sind nur das Echo der Töne aus der Kehle des Vogels in eurer Hand!
