Today there are many who do not attach any importance to namasmarana (contemplation on the Divine Name). It is a great mistake. “In this Age of Kali only chanting of the divine name can redeem your lives. There is no other refuge.” (Sanskrit sloka) Singing the glory of the Lord is highly sacred. Let each and every street reverberate with the singing of divine glory. Let each and every cell of your body be filled with divine name. Nothing else can give you the bliss, courage and strength that you derive from namasmarana. Even if some people make fun of you, do not bother about it. People may say, “He is an I.A.S. officer. How is it that he is also doing namasmarana?” Whoever has a heart has the right to do namasmarana. Heart is the same in everyone. What is wrong if an I.A.S. officer does namasmarana? Be he young or old, rich or poor, everybody has to do namasmarana. Only fools make fun of people doing namasmarana. Heute gibt es viele, die Namasmarana (Kontemplation des göttlichen Namens) keine Bedeutung beimessen. Das ist ein großer Fehler. „In diesem Zeitalter von Kali kann nur das Rezitieren des göttlichen Namens euer Leben erlösen. Es gibt keine andere Zuflucht.“ (Sanskrit Sloka) Das Besingen des Ruhmes des Herrn ist hochheilig. Lasst jede einzelne Straße mit dem Gesang der göttlichen Herrlichkeit widerhallen. Lasst jede einzelne Zelle eures Körpers mit dem göttlichen Namen erfüllt sein. Nichts anderes kann euch die Glückseligkeit, den Mut und die Kraft geben, die ihr aus Namasmarana schöpft. Auch wenn sich einige über euch lustig machen, kümmert euch nicht darum. Die Leute mögen sagen: „Er ist ein I.A.S.-Offizier. Wie kann es sein, dass er auch Namasmarana macht?“ Wer ein Herz hat, hat das Recht, Namasmarana zu praktizieren. Das Herz ist in jedem gleich. Was ist falsch daran, wenn ein I.A.S.-Offizier Namasmarana macht? Ob jung oder alt, reich oder arm, jeder muss Namasmarana machen.
