Wenn man geboren wird, ist der Geist (mind) wie ein leeres Blatt Papier. Sobald das Denken, Fühlen und Handeln beginnt, fängt auch die Trübung des Geistes an. Der Körper hängt vom Lebensatem (prana), dem Verstand und den Wünschen ab, die den Geist erregen. Recht und Wahrheit werden von den Anforderungen des Verhaltens, Kleidens, von Sitten und Bräuchen vernebelt, und das Individuum wird in eine Menge geworfen. Die Einsamkeit wird überfallen und fortgerissen. Deshalb muss der Geist erst beruhigt und zur Stille gebracht werden. Nur dann kann der Körper gesund und der Intellekt scharf sein. Der Geist wird nur auf ein einziges Objekt gerichtet, nicht gleichzeitig auf viele. Aber er ist immer noch ein Konglomerat von Gedanken, Wünschen, Launen, Vorstellungen und so weiter. Tatsächlich beinhaltet der Geist, in einer Nussschalte, die gesamte Geschichte der Schöpfung. Das ist die Täuschung (maya), die von der Menschheit geformt wird. Eisen kann nur von Eisen flach gehämmert werden. Ebenso muss der minderwertige, niedere Verstand vom überlegenen Verstand besser geformt werden. Man muss sein Denken für das Ziel der persönlichen Erhebung ausgezeichneter und stärker machen.

06 Aug 2021When one is born, the mind is like a blank sheet of paper. As soon as thinking, feeling, and acting starts, the process of tarnishing the mind also starts. The body depends on the life breath (prana), the mind and the desires that agitate the mind. Right and truth are befogged by the needs of manners, fashion, convention, custom, etc., and the individual is thrown into a crowd. The solitude is invaded and taken away. Therefore, the mind must first be calmed and quieted. Only then can the body be healthy and the intellect sharp. The mind is projected at one time only on a single object, not on many. But it is still a conglomeration of thoughts, desires, fancies, imaginings, and the rest. In fact, the mind has inside it, in a nutshell, the entire history of creation. That is the delusion (maya) mould of humanity. Iron has to be beaten flat by iron alone. So too, the inferior, lower mind has to be shaped better by the superior mind. One has to make one’s mind superior and stronger for the task of personal uplift.
