There is a man who is addressed as father by his son. The daughter-in-law calls him father-in-law, while the grandchildren call him grandfather. The individual is the same but the manner in which different people address him varies. Similarly, the same God is given different names by the followers of different religions; they hail Him as Allah, Jesus, Rama, Krishna, Buddha, and so on. Though the names vary, God is one and the same. Therefore, there is really no room for dispute between people belonging to different religions. You may address God by the name of your choice but all calls go to the same destination. Goal is one, and God also is one. Thus, in respect of God, there should be no difference of opinion. In fact, Sarva jiva namaskaram Kesavam pratigacchati. No matter to whom you offer salutations and greetings, they all go to God Himself. Da ist ein Mann, der von seinem Sohn als Vater angesprochen wird. Die Schwiegertochter nennt ihn Schwiegervater, während die Enkelkinder ihn Großvater nennen. Der Mensch ist derselbe, aber die Art und Weise, wie die verschiedenen Menschen ihn ansprechen, ist unterschiedlich. Ebenso wird ein und derselbe Gott von den Anhängern verschiedener Religionen mit unterschiedlichen Namen angesprochen; sie nennen ihn Allah, Jesus, Rama, Krishna, Buddha und so weiter. Auch wenn die Namen variieren, ist Gott ein und derselbe. Deshalb gibt es zwischen Menschen, die verschiedenen Religionen angehören, eigentlich keinen Grund zum Streit. Ihr könnt Gott mit dem Namen eurer Wahl ansprechen, aber alle Anrufe gehen an dasselbe Ziel. Das Ziel ist eins, und auch Gott ist eins. Daher sollte es in Bezug auf Gott keine Meinungsverschiedenheiten geben. In der Tat: Sarva jiva namaskaram Kesavam pratigacchati. Ganz gleich, wem ihr Grüße und Aufmerksamkeiten schenkt, sie gehen alle an Gott. Da derselbe Gott in allen wohnt, wo ist da Platz für Auseinandersetzungen, die auf Kaste, Glaube, Rasse et cetera basieren?
