Rama is the supreme symbol of the power of attraction. This Rama is not the son of Dasharatha but the spiritual Rama who is the Atma-Rama (the Indweller in every heart). The Atma is the universal magnet which attracts everything. When you keep a flower here, bees are attracted from afar. They are drawn to the flower because of the sweet honey in it. Not a single bee will be attracted by a plastic flower. The sweetness that attracts people is Prema (love). This love may be manifested in many forms – maternal love, filial love, fraternal affection, marital love, friendly love and so on. Divine Love is the basis of all these forms of attraction. It is a powerful magnet. It is present everywhere, including in every human being. Every child bears the imprint of its parents. As all human beings have come from God, they should carry the marks of the Creator. Man has taken birth to manifest the Divine in him. – Divine Discourse, Jul 20, 1997.

Rama ist das oberste Symbol für die Macht der Anziehung. Dieser Rama ist nicht der Sohn von Dasharatha, sondern der spirituelle Rama, der Atma-Rama (der Innewohnende in jedem Herzen). Der Atman ist der universelle Magnet, der alles anzieht. Wenn ihr hier eine Blume habt, werden Bienen von weitem angezogen. Sie werden von der Blume angezogen, weil sie süßen Honig enthält. Nicht eine einzige Biene wird von einer Plastikblume angezogen. Die Süße, die die Menschen anzieht, ist Prema (Liebe). Diese Liebe kann sich in vielen Formen manifestieren – mütterliche Liebe, kindliche Liebe, brüderliche Zuneigung, eheliche Liebe, freundschaftliche Liebe und so weiter. Die göttliche Liebe ist die Grundlage all dieser Formen der Anziehung. Sie ist ein starker Magnet. Sie ist überall gegenwärtig, auch in jedem menschlichen Wesen. Jedes Kind trägt den Abdruck seiner Eltern. Da alle Menschen von Gott abstammen, sollten sie die Zeichen des Schöpfers tragen. Der Mensch ist geboren worden, um das Göttliche in sich zu manifestieren.
