Start the day with Love, spend the day with Love, fill the day with Love, and end the day with Love – this is the way to God. On this path, you will not be waylaid by anger, lust or greed. You will have only the company of the good and proper facilities for speedy progress. Do your duty with Love, as if you are thereby adoring God. Many leaders are today clamouring for freedom to follow Sweccha, that is, swa-iccha, one’s own inclinations. But real freedom is gained only when you are free of the pernicious influence of passions like lust, envy, pride, greed and hate. Swa-iccha does not mean to follow any and every desire that arises in your mind; it means the inclination of your true self towards God. If you incline towards God, the passions that enslave you will be rendered powerless. Beginnt den Tag mit Liebe, verbringt den Tag mit Liebe, füllt den Tag mit Liebe und beendet den Tag mit Liebe – das ist der Weg zu Gott. Auf diesem Weg werdet ihr nicht von Ärger, Lust oder Gier aufgehalten. Ihr werdet nur die Gesellschaft des Guten und die richtigen Voraussetzungen für ein schnelles Vorankommen haben. Erfüllt eure Pflicht mit Liebe, so als würdet ihr damit Gott verehren. Viele Führer schreien heute nach der Freiheit, Sweccha, das heißt, swa-iccha, den eigenen Neigungen zu folgen. Aber wirkliche Freiheit erlangt man nur, wenn man frei ist von dem verderblichen Einfluss von Leidenschaften wie Lust, Neid, Stolz, Gier und Hass. Swa-iccha bedeutet nicht, jedem Wunsch zu folgen, der in eurem Geist auftaucht; es bedeutet die Neigung eures wahren Selbst zu Gott. Wenn ihr euch Gott zuwendet, werden die Leidenschaften, die euch versklaven, machtlos. Dann werdet ihr eure „Pflicht“ als sweccha erfüllen, denn denn ihr werdet sie von ganzem Herzen lieben!
