The Vedas declared, vedahametam purusham mahantam aditya varnam tamasah parastat (The Supreme Divine, with the effulgence of the Sun, dwells beyond darkness). God is beyond tamas (darkness). He is not outside. He is within you. You are He. While he is himself the Divine, man seeks the Divine in a forest or through meditation. What folly is this? The Vedas deride man for failing to see God even while seeing Him. Pashyannapi na pashyanti mudho (The fool fails to see even while he is seeing). You must worship the living Divinity, not the lifeless. Honour every being who is in human form. See the Divine in every man. The cosmos is Vishnu swarupam (a manifestation of the Divine). God is with you, in you, and around you. He is not elsewhere. Develop this firm conviction. It is self-deception to imagine that God is somewhere away from you.

Die Veden erklären: „Das Höchste Göttliche, mit dem Glanz der Sonne, wohnt jenseits der Dunkelheit (vedahametam purusham mahantam aditya varnam tamasah parastat).“ Gott ist jenseits von Tamas (Dunkelheit). Er ist nicht außerhalb. Er ist in euch. Ihr seid Er. Während er das Göttliche ist, sucht der Mensch das Göttliche in einem Wald oder durch Meditation. Was für eine Torheit ist das? Die Veden verhöhnen den Menschen dafür, dass er Gott nicht sieht, selbst wenn er ihn sieht. „Der Narr sieht nicht einmal, während er sieht (pashyannapi na pashyanti mudho).“ Ihr müsst die lebendige Gottheit verehren, nicht die leblose. Verehrt jedes Wesen, das in menschlicher Gestalt existiert. Seht das Göttliche in jedem Menschen. Der Kosmos ist Vishnu-Svarupam (eine Manifestation des Göttlichen). Gott ist mit euch, in euch und um euch herum. Er ist nicht anderswo. Entwickelt diese feste Überzeugung. Es ist eine Selbsttäuschung, sich vorzustellen, dass Gott irgendwo weit weg von euch sei.
