Some people say that they have not got any benefit in spite of chanting the divine name for twenty to thirty years. No benefit accrues from chanting the divine name if the mind is filled with impurities. First, purify your mind and fill it with positive feelings. Only then you can experience the benefit of chanting the divine name. At least from today onwards, cultivate noble feelings. Talk sweetly and softly. You cannot always oblige, but you can always speak obligingly. Embodiments of Love! On the New Year Day, it is a practice to mix sweet, sour and bitter things and eat them. It is to indicate that joy and sorrow have to be treated with equanimity. It is the tongue that tastes the delicacy and it is the heart that tastes love. The taste of love is peerless. It is sweeter than even nectar. Love alone can match love. God is love, love is God. Live in love. Whatever bhajans you sing, sing with love. God is Bhavapriya. Manche Menschen sagen, dass sie trotz zwanzig- bis dreißigjährigem Rezitieren des göttlichen Namens keinen Nutzen daraus gezogen hätten. Es bringt keinen Nutzen, den göttlichen Namen zu rezitieren, wenn der Geist mit Unreinheiten gefüllt ist. Reinigt zuerst euren Geist und füllt ihn mit positiven Gefühlen an. Nur dann könnt ihr den Nutzen des Rezitieren des göttlichen Namens erfahren. Kultiviert zumindest von heute an edle Gefühle. Sprecht sanft und leise. Ihr könnt nicht immer zuvorkommend sein, aber ihr könnt immer zuvorkommend sprechen. Verkörperungen der Liebe! Am Neujahrstag ist es Brauch, süße, saure und bittere Dinge zu mischen und zu essen. Das soll darauf hinweisen, dass Freud und Leid mit Gleichmut behandelt werden müssen. Es ist die Zunge, die die Delikatesse schmeckt, und es ist das Herz, das die Liebe schmeckt. Der Geschmack der Liebe ist unvergleichlich. Er ist süßer als selbst Nektar. Nur die Liebe kann sich mit der Liebe messen. Gott ist Liebe, Liebe ist Gott. Lebt in der Liebe. Welche Bhajans ihr auch singt, singt mit Liebe. Gott ist Bhavapriya. Er sieht eure Gefühle, nicht den Rhythmus oder die Melodie. Wenn eure Gefühle rein sind, wird Gott sich um alles kümmern!
