A person who claims to have gone to the seashore and played with the waves must produce, as evidence, at least a pair of wet feet, isn’t it? So too, when you come to this sea of Satsanga (the company of the pious) and share the waves of bliss, the proof is in the eye becoming wet with weeping; in the heart that exults when another is happy. Even when you listen, gather the honey as the bee does when it visits the flowers. It was said that the world is becoming Sai-mayam (full of Sai), with the Sai-namam (name of Sai) on everyone’s lips. I want it to go deeper. I also don’t insist that it should be the name “Sai”. The world must become Paramatma-mayam (full of the Supreme), with any of the many names and forms of the Supreme on the lips of people and before their minds! It’s the same substance poured into different moulds. Like sugar dolls that children seek, cats, dogs, cows and horses, all are of the self-same sweetness; one child prefers this shape and this name; another one weeps for another doll! Jemand, der behauptet, am Meer gewesen zu sein und mit den Wellen gespielt zu haben, muss als Beweis zumindest ein Paar nasse Füße vorweisen, nicht wahr? Wenn ihr ebenso an dieses Meer von Satsanga (Gesellschaft der Frommen) kommt und die Wellen der Glückseligkeit teilt, ist der Beweis das Auge, das feucht wird vor Tränen; das Herze, das jubelt, wenn ein anderer glücklich ist. Selbst wenn ihr zuhört, sammelt den Honig, wie es die Biene tut, wenn sie die Blumen besucht. Es wurde gesagt, dass die Welt Sai-mayam (voll von Sai) wird, mit dem Sai-namam (Name von Sai) in aller Munde. Ich möchte, dass es noch tiefer geht. Ich bestehe auch nicht darauf, dass es der Name „Sai“ sein soll. Die Welt muss Paramatma-mayam (voll des Höchsten) werden, mit jedem der vielen Namen und Formen des Höchsten auf den Lippen der Menschen und vor ihrem geistigen Auge! Es ist die gleiche Substanz, die in verschiedene Formen gegossen wird. Wie Zuckerpuppen, die Kinder erstreben – Katzen, Hunde, Kühe und Pferde –, sie alle sind von der gleichen Süße; ein Kind bevorzugt diese Form und diesen Namen; ein anderes weint um eine andere Puppe! Dasselbe göttliche Wesen erscheint zu verschiedenen Zeiten und an verschiedenen Orten und nimmt verschiedene Namen an.
