Today we are having Akhanda Bhajan (nonstop twenty-four-hour bhajan by Sai devotees all over the world). This is being done not for the sake of one individual, one nation or one community. It is for the welfare of humanity as a whole! The bhajans that are sung permeate the ether in the form of sound waves and fill the entire atmosphere. Thereby the whole environment gets purified. Breathing in this purified atmosphere, our hearts get purified. Reciting the Lord’s name is a process of give and take. Singing the Lord’s name should become an exercise in mutual sharing of joy and holiness. It should be remembered that the sounds we produce reverberate in the atmosphere. They remain permanently in the ether as waves and outlast the individual uttering the sounds. Today the atmosphere is polluted by unholy and vicious sounds. This results in the growth of evil thoughts and feelings, which lead to evil deeds. If the atmosphere has to be purified, it must be filled with pure and sacred sounds. Gedanke für den Tag aus Prasanthi Nilayam vom 12. November 2022
Heute haben wir Akhanda Bhajan (ununterbrochenes vierundzwanzigstündiges Bhajansingen von Sai-Devotees in der ganzen Welt). Dies geschieht nicht zum Wohle eines Einzelnen, einer Nation oder einer Gemeinschaft. Es ist für das Wohlergehen der Menschheit als Ganzes! Die Bhajans, die gesungen werden, durchdringen den Äther in Form von Schallwellen und erfüllen die gesamte Atmosphäre. Auf diese Weise wird die gesamte Umgebung gereinigt. Indem wir diese gereinigte Atmosphäre einatmen, werden unsere Herzen gereinigt. Das Rezitieren des Namens des Herrn ist ein Prozess des Gebens und Nehmens. Das Singen des Gottesnamens sollte eine Übung im gegenseitigen Teilen von Freude und Heiligkeit werden. Wir sollten bedenken, dass die Töne, die wir erzeugen, in der Atmosphäre widerhallen. Sie verbleiben dauerhaft als Wellen im Äther und überdauern das Individuum, das die Töne ausstößt. Heute ist die Atmosphäre durch unheilige und bösartige Klänge verschmutzt. Dies führt zur Entstehung böser Gedanken und Gefühlen, die zu bösen Taten führen. Wenn die Atmosphäre gereinigt werden soll, muss sie mit reinen und heiligen Klängen erfüllt werden. Daraus ergibt sich die Notwendigkeit, Reinheit in Gedanken, Worten und Taten zu kultivieren.
