Students! The future of the country, for good or ill, depends on you. The older generation cannot reform the nation. Only a disciplined and well-educated younger generation can serve the nation well, as future leaders. Treat the whole world as a vast mansion. Strive for the well-being of Bharat as well as the nations equally. Adhere to your principles and beliefs regardless of what others may say. Have the example of the Gopikas in mind. Their devotion to Krishna was firm and unwavering. Consider truth as your life breath. If you speak the truth and practise righteousness, you will attain the highest state. Adhere to truth in earning a living or in experiencing anything in life. Ill-gotten wealth will be lost in the same way. Engage yourselves in some kind of socially useful activity in the educational, medical or other fields. Sacrifice is more important than earning money. Students imbued with this spirit of service may go to any country. Do not use your diplomas as begging bowls for jobs. Studenten! Die Zukunft des Landes hängt auf Gedeih und Verderb von euch ab. Die ältere Generation kann die Nation nicht reformieren. Nur eine disziplinierte und gut ausgebildete jüngere Generation kann der Nation als künftige Führungspersönlichkeit gut dienen. Betrachtet die ganze Welt als ein großes Haus. Strebt nach dem Wohlergehen von Bharat und den anderen Nationen gleichermaßen. Haltet an euren Prinzipien und Überzeugungen fest, unabhängig davon, was andere sagen. Nehmt euch das Beispiel der Gopikas zum Vorbild. Ihre Hingabe an Krishna war fest und unerschütterlich. Betrachtet Wahrheit als euren Lebensatem. Wenn ihr die Wahrheit sprecht und Rechtschaffenheit praktiziert, werdet ihr den höchsten Zustand erlangen. Haltet euch an die Wahrheit, wenn ihr euren Lebensunterhalt verdient oder etwas im Leben erfahrt. Unrechtmäßig erworbener Reichtum wird auf die gleiche Weise verloren gehen. Engagiert euch in irgendeiner Art von gesellschaftlich nützlicher Tätigkeit in Bildung, in Medizin oder auf anderen Gebieten. Aufopferung ist wichtiger als Geldverdienen. Studenten, die von diesem Geist des Dienens durchdrungen sind, können in jedes Land gehen. Benutzt eure Diplome nicht als Bettelschüssel für Jobs. Nutzt eure Ausbildung richtig, um der Nation zu dienen und ein edles Leben zu führen. Dies ist mein Segen für Sie alle.
