Die Familie Gottes ist unser Ideal, das Wahren von Harmonie und Frieden trotz antagonistischer Elemente, die untereinander präsent sind. Die Vehikel von Shiva (der Bulle), Parvathi (der Löwe), Ganesha (die Maus) und Subrahmanya (der Kuckuck) in ihrem natürlichen Zustand sind schädlich für einander. Aber durch das Leben in der Präsenz Gottes legen sie ihre Feindschaft ab und leben friedlich. Harmonie in der göttlichen Familie zeigen, dass wo Göttlichkeit herrscht, da ist Friede und Freundschaft! Hass und Eifersucht entstehen, wenn die Allgegenwart des Göttlichen vergessen und ignoriert wird. Heilige Tage wie Vinayaka Chathurti sollten gefeiert werden, um uns an die heiligen Wahrheiten zu erinnern und unseren Verstand zu heiligen und entsprechend zu leben. Sie sollten nicht wie Feiertage für Schwelgerei und Heiratsvermittlung behandelt werden. Ganapati sollte angebetet werden, damit alle Wesen (gana) freundlich und hilfsberei zu uns werden. Tyagaraja sang, wenn man die Gande Gott erhalte, würden alle Planeten in Reichweite sein. Wir müssen unsere Herzen reingen, damit Gott seine Gnade auf uns herabsegnen lassen möge.

9th September 2021 The Lord‘s family is our ideal, maintaining harmony and peace in spite of antagonistic elements present amongst them. The vehicles of Shiva (the bull), Parvathi (the lion), Ganesha (the mouse) and Subrahmanya (the peacock) in their natural state are inimical to each other. But living in the presence of the Lord, they shed their enmity and live peacefully. Harmony in the Divine family shows that where there is Divinity, there is peace and amity! Hatred and jealousy arise when the Omnipresence of the Divine is forgotten or ignored. Holy days like Vinayaka Chathurti should be celebrated to remind ourselves of sacred truths and to sanctify our minds and lives accordingly. They should not be treated as holidays for feasting and merry-making. Ganapati should be worshipped so that all Ganas (beings) become friendly and helpful to us. Tyagaraja sang that if one gets Lord’s grace (deivanugraham) all planets (grahas) will be in his grasp. We must purify our hearts so that God may shower His grace on us.
